When the cherry blossoms suddenly fluttered in the wind, I thought that this might be the great adventure they had been waiting for. As I took a brief nap beneath the cherry blossoms and listened to the sounds of children playing, it occurred to me that the value of a moment really isn't related to the length of time.

突然の風に桜が舞う時、それは待ち望んだ大冒険なのかもしれないと思いました。桜の下でつかの間の昼寝をしながら子どもの遊ぶ声を聞き流していると、一瞬の価値はやはり時間の長さとはあまり関係がないように思えました。

Wintersweets and plum blossoms bloom, and as the cherry blossoms fall, wisteria begins to bloom in the mountains. Zelkova and mulberry trees spread their young leaves into the sky, and Sasa bamboo waits on the banks for the rivers to flood with the coming rainy season.

蝋梅が咲いて梅が咲き、こうして桜が散ると山に藤が咲き始めます。ケヤキは空に若葉を広げ、笹はやがてくる梅雨に川が増水するのを岸で待っています。

There is a repeating and layered rhythm here, and a continuous balance. I feel there is value in moments of beautiful, resonant scenery. I want to expand the atmosphere into the space.

ここには繰り返しながら複層するリズムがあり、連なるバランスがあるように思います。美しく共振する風景の瞬間には、価値があると感じています。

I hope that rhythm and balance will lead to harmony.
