冬の大雪だったか春先の強い風だったのか、枝先を大きく折られていた枝にたくさんの葉が茂っていました。不意に枝を折られた時は驚いただろうと思います。

The tree might have been frustrated for a while. The branches that fell into the river might be decomposed and become the next source of nutrients, or they might be picked up by me walking along the riverbank and become a source of livelihood.

しばらくは悔しがっていたかもしれません。川に落ちた枝は分解されて次の養分になるのかもしれませんし、川岸を歩いていた私に拾われて暮らしの糧になるのかもしれません。

I think the randomness of the rhythm of the scenery is also part of the dynamic balance. While I was thinking about this, a bolt from the blue hit the twig.

風景のリズムが持つ乱数も、動いているバランスの一部なのだろうと思います。そんな事をぼんやり思いつつ狙いを定め、小枝に青天の霹靂。
