Rhythm of life, Balance of living : Rotate_individual

This is the plum tree in my teacher's garden that was pruned last winter. I climbed the ladder again this winter to help with the pruning, and received many branches. Apparently, the teacher returns the branches I don't use to the soil in his fields.

これは前の冬に剪定した先生の庭の梅。
私は今年の冬も梯子に登って剪定を手伝い、多くの枝を頂きました。使わない枝は畑に撒くからこの袋へ入れてね。との事。

When winter comes, we prune the branches; some enrich the fields, while the ones I cherish sway in the wind. The remaining plum tree nourishes its trunk through the winter, and I believe it will grace us with blossoms again in the gentle spring breeze.

冬になれば枝を打ち、ある枝は畑を肥やし、私が見初めた枝は時を経て風にそよぐのです。残された梅は幹を肥やして冬を耐え、また穏やかな春の風に花を添えてくれる事と思います。

Here lies the rhythm of life, the balance of living. Like trees bearing fruit and birds carrying seeds, multifaceted. If beauty lies there, I feel it's something like hope. The scenery should know this well.

ここには暮らしのリズムがあり、暮らしのバランスがあるように思います。実を与える木々とその種を運ぶ鳥のように多面的。それが美しさへ続くなら、それは希望のようなものだと思っています。風景はきっとその事をよく知っているはず。

※ As for what kind of teacher he is, he's a karate master who loves little birds. I respect him. なんの先生なのかと申しますと、小鳥が好きな空手の先生です。
