前の冬に剪定されたこの松の小枝は、じっくりとねじれながら太陽を探した姿をしていました。彼が要求したのは、もう２回ねじれること。新しい何かではなくて、これまでしてきた事をあと2回繰り返す事でした。

The way the branches diverge, the twisted angle at the tips, the variations in thickness. Each one seems to harbour its own meaning. Perhaps meaning arises when something once done is repeated just a little longer. It feels like hope, yet troublesome at the same time.

枝分かれの仕方、枝先のねじれた角度、その太さの違い。どれひとつとってみても、意味を成したようにも思えます。これまでしてきた事をあと少し繰り返す事で、意味が生まれる事もあるのかもしれません。希望のようでもあり、悩ましい事だなと思います。
