Swaying in the gentle breeze coming through the window. This is A small aria of our scenery. That wind and that aria is also Arietta.

窓から入る柔らかな風にそよぐ、風景を構成する要素の小さな独唱曲のようなものです。

Our scenery becomes more vibrant with each passing season because the layered rhythms resonate. One change leads to another, and before I know it, our scenery becomes lively because it is based on unique balance.

巡る季節に風景が華やぐのは、風景の中で複層しているリズムが共振しているから。ひとつの変化が他方へ続き、いつの間にか賑やかになっているのは風景がバランスに基づいているから。

There are moments that are okay to overlook, but that I don't want to miss. Like the morning mist of summer or the colorful leaves of autumn. Or the stillness of a long winter night, or the twinkling of cherry blossoms in spring.

日常には見落としたって構わないけれど、見逃したくない瞬間があります。木々の間からこぼれたスポットライトもそのひとつ。

Along the narrow path leading to my studio, there are fine houses and various trees that are well-maintained. This twig of Yamatsuge is one of them. This region has a long history as a forestry area, and Japanese cedar trees grow on the mountains surrounding the settlement.

スタジオへ至る細い小道の脇には立派な家々があり、いろいろな樹木が手入れされています。この山柘植の小枝もそのひとつ。この地域は林業地としての長い歴史を持っていて、集落を取り囲む山には杉が育っています。ここでの独唱はそんな山柘植の小枝。山の杉材を添えて。
