Many wild birds live around the studio. Migratory birds are important visitors that signal the arrival of the seasons, and Mountain Turtle Dove that I always see are my friends.

スタジオの周辺には多くの野鳥が暮らしています。渡り鳥は季節の訪れを教えてくれる大切な客人で、いつも見かける山鳩は友人です。

Mountain Turtle Dove eats insects, the insects eat trees, and the trees bask in the sun and eat the soil. These are tiny details that influence each other within a larger scenery. I feel this constantly moving, small mechanism is linked to the rhythm of the seasons based on the balance of the region, and that it drives the larger scenery.

山鳩は昆虫を食べ、昆虫は木を食べ、木は太陽を浴びて土を食べます。これは大きな風景の中にある、相互に影響を及ぼしあっているとても小さな細部です。常時動いているこの小さなメカニズムは、地域のバランスに基づいて四季のリズムと連動していて、大きな風景を動かしているのだろうと思います。

Some trees give fruit to small birds so that they carry seeds, while others give nectar to birds so that they carry pollen. What birds are in this area right now? Which trees are bearing fruit or flowers at this time of year? When the rhythms of the scenery resonate, the scenery becomes very lively. When a comfortable breeze blows and the elements of the scenery influence each other, I think the scenery becomes dynamic based on that balance.

小鳥に実を与えて種を運ばせる木々もあれば、花の蜜を与えて花粉を運ばせる木々もあります。何の鳥がいまこの土地にいるのか。どの木がこの時期に実や花を付けているのか。風景のリズムが共振する時、風景はとても賑やかになります。心地よい風が吹き、風景の要素が互いに影響を及ぼしあうとき、風景はそのバランスに基づいて躍動するのだと思います。
