It is the kite that catches the valley winds high in the sky. It is the white heron that descends silently to the water's edge. It is the small birds that spread their wings as they flit from branch to branch across the valley. There is a precise, fluid beauty in the natural, seamless movements of these birds in flight.

空高く谷の風を捉えるのは鳶。
音もなく谷の水辺へ降りるのは白鷺。
枝から枝へ谷を移る瞬間に翼を広げるのは小鳥たち。
飛ぶ鳥の自然体で滑らかな動きには、正確で澱みない美しさがあるように感じます。

Birds that fly by molting shed their feathers once a year. Since there's a limited time when I can find these feathers, I feel this is probably true.

羽根を換羽する事で空を飛ぶ鳥は、一年に一度のリズムで羽根を落とします。見つけられる時期が限られているので、きっとそうなのだと思います。

An autumnal breeze sweeps up the mountain slopes, where cedar trees have been growing in a rhythm spanning several decades.

秋めいた風が駆け上がるのは、数十年のリズムで杉を育てている山の斜面。

The feathers that gently catch the breeze on the cedar base are a pair that came together by chance after being collected over a long period of time. I think I was able to create them because I was able to continue doing so. I am able to continue this creative work and research thanks to your interest. I am truly grateful.
