The feather dropped by Yamabato（mountain pigeon） is resting on the roots of a tree on the slope of a small collapsed mountain. Tree roots are not the only things that emerge from collapsed soil. The knowledgeable Yamabato searches for things around the soil. The Yamabato's home is basically the mountains, but I've heard that it's starting to be seen in urban areas as well. This may be the result of the development of urban parks through urban design, and the trees in these parks have grown older. When you climb the mountain, you can see Tokyo's skyscrapers in the distance. I don't think it's surprising that the Yamabato was interested in what that thing was.

山鳩が落とした羽がとまっているのは小さく崩れた山の斜面にあった木の根っこ。崩れた土から出てくるのは木の根ばかりではありません。物知りの山鳩は土の周囲で探し物をしています。山鳩の住まいは基本的に山ですが、都市部でも見られるようになってきていると耳にします。都市デザインにより都市公園が整備され、その公園の木々が樹齢を重ねてきた結果なのかもしれません。山に登ると遠くに東京の高層ビル群が見えます。山鳩があれはなんだと興味を持ったって、不思議はないと思います。

Their expansion into the city feels somewhat similar to a plant taking root in the cracks of asphalt or concrete. I think that just as words and ink blur, so too do their boundaries. Pieces of asphalt support the tree roots. If Hiroshige Utagawa (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/歌川広重) suddenly appeared today, I would be interested to see what kind of paintings of flowers and birds he would create.

彼らの都市への進出は、アスファルトやコンクリートの亀裂に根を張る植物とどこか似ているような感覚がしています。言葉やインクが滲むように、彼らにとっての境界も滲んでいるのだろうと思います。木の根を支えているのはアスファルトのかけら。歌川広重がひょっこり今に現れたのなら、どんな花鳥画を描くのだろうと興味があります。

When the season comes, many small birds eat nuts from trees and scatter seeds, and by giving them nuts, trees transport the seeds to distant locations. I think it's a very good relationship with a sustained rhythm. And the balance is only possible when there are birds of prey that target the small birds.

多くの小鳥は時期が来ると木の実を食べて種を撒き、木は実を与える事で種を離れた場所に運んでもらいます。持続的なリズムを持った良い関係だと思います。そしてその小鳥を狙う猛禽類がいてこそのバランスです。

I admire the ukiyo-e prints that depict familiar plants and my neighbor's birds. Apparently, during the Edo period, common people like me lived in small houses. Therefore, not everyone could keep small birds or grow plants freely. Going on a journey is also difficult. That's why they decorated their rooms with trendy birds and plants, and enjoyed the feeling of traveling through ukiyo-e prints of famous tourist spots. (I'm sure there are various theories, so please understand that I've researched and written a little about what I know :)

私は身近な植物や隣人の鳥を描いた浮世絵に憧れます。江戸の頃、私のような庶民は小さな家に住んでいたそうです。だから自由に小鳥を飼ったり、植物を育てることはできませんでした。旅に出るのも大変なこと。だから流行りの小鳥や植物を部屋に飾り、有名な観光地の浮世絵で旅の気分を楽しんだのだそうです。

I used materials created by the cyclical rhythm of the scenery. Feathers dropped by birds and twigs dropped by trees. Scenery change, but they last as long as the scenery remains balanced. This is the scenery of my area. This is just a momentary snapshot of the scenery there. Please enjoy it.

その風景が周期的なリズムで創り出している素材を用いました。鳥が落とす羽根や木が落とす小枝。風景は変化していくものですが、風景のバランスが保たれている限りこれらは持続的です。ここにあるのは私のいる地域の風景です。そこにある風景のほんの一瞬を切り取ったもの。ぜひ楽しんでください。
