A river of wind, a valley of water : Rotate_individual

There is a river running through the valley of the village where my studio is located. In summer, fireflies dance on this river. In summer, many children visit the river and it becomes lively. In winter, the river sometimes has a thin layer of ice, and there are few people and water, so if you go down to the riverside, time flows very quietly.

私のスタジオがある集落の谷には川が流れています。夏には蛍の舞うこの川。夏になれば多くの子どもたちが訪れ賑わいをみせます。薄く氷の張ることもある冬は人も水も少なく、河辺に降りるととても静かな時間が流れています。

Branches broken by the wind swayed against the rocks in the green of the deep pool. The water collected fallen leaves in the shallow rapids, and the wind, drawn by the meandering river current, also collected fallen leaves. My wife and I found blue-green pebbles that seemed to take on the color of the pool, and picked up decaying twigs. The quieter we walked, the more lively the dried leaves became. In the river at night, which was especially quiet, it seemed that deer and wild boars had come down from the mountains, and there were many footprints of small creatures among the fallen leaves on the sand.

深い淵の緑には風で折れた枝が岩に引っかかりそよいでいます。浅い瀬には水が落ち葉を集め、曲がりくねった川の流れに誘われて、風も落ち葉を集めてきます。私は妻と淵の色を宿したような青緑色の小石を見つけ、朽ちてゆく小枝を拾いました。私たちが静かに歩くほど、乾燥した落ち葉が音を立てて賑やかです。ことさら静かな夜の川には鹿や猪も山から降りてきていると見え、砂地の落ち葉の合間に小さな生き物の足跡がたくさんありました。

I wonder how many complex chains are behind this simple chain of balance.
